Weller Full Proof - Chambers
N: A little nutty, a little oaky, and a little muted for WFP. There's little to be offended about. Up top is very cerealy. A bit like graham cracker. Medium distance, it begins to get a little perfumey and floral. Daisies come to mind. Deeper in the half, I pick up ethanol, caramel, burnt sugar, and molasses. This is where the punch comes in. Disguised as a girl scout cookie.
This is a solid 10/10 and I'm in disbelief that I was honored enough to taste a product of this barrel.
P: Some super glue/sharpie type industrial flavor, caramel apples, fudge filled confectionary that has caramel and a crispy layer. I'm really surprised to find all of this on the palate. It's usually quick and fleeting so I can only catch a couple flavors, but this time, it keeps going.
9/10
F: Sharp ethanol that fades back to reveal those same caramel wafer concoction. It's freaking amazing!
9/10
O: 28/30 I mean. I'm in disbelief. I'm not gonna say that this is the best bourbon I've ever had but I will say that I'm weighing it against that. It being at 30/30. Up there as the best I've had in a minute though. Excellent pick by these guys.
