 Lucky 7 14yr. 118.6

First time having this. Sample provided my Michael Garcia
It's a bit pricey so I expect a lot. I believe these go for $200 or so.

Hits you with unripe melon right away. A little ethanol burn. And a bitter burnt plastic note. It's hard to fight your way to the bottom of the aroma. It's not entirely unpleasant just slightly off-putting and unconventional. Once you're in there you feel the thickness and you're almost fighting your way through a jungle of rubbery smells. I know there's something good hiding under there but it's exhausting to get to. There... It's baked pastries and sweet bread and herbs. Perhaps I was a little harsh on this. My initial was 6 but it's a solid 7 just for the challenge alone. What can I say, I like different and interesting. And challenging counts. This honestly reminds me of some good rums I've tried.

Super glue, apples, and tannins. As you good it in your mouth, it gets that chalky bitter dryness you expect to get in the tail end.

Wow something great happened here. I gotta go back. Brb.
Ok. I haven't gone back yet. There's a lot going on here. I'm processing. What!? Cucumber?
Anyway. I'm gonna try this again just to make sure.
Here we go!
Rapid fire... There's a faint presence of newsprint followed by apples, rubber, chalk, fresh car smell, sterile hospital, lots of sweetness, a hint of sour, astringent tannins, melon, and cucumber. The sweetness lingers through the whole process. And it fades into the abyss.
O: 25 The price tag is a little steep but I do think it is a contender in this price range. It is interesting enough. Perhaps not a movie I'd want to watch over and over again but I'm glad I saw it once. The good thing is, every release is a little different so there's lots to enjoy.
